I define my art like something current, representational paintings with few abstract implements. An emotional gesture; which can include my life experiences, my sorrows, my expectations and my reflections.
As a Parisian what does Paris mean to you as an artist and your creative process?
Paris is my motivation. I feel the people around me, their activity, and the different sorts that surround me. It makes me feel alive and that I’m a contributing member to artistic creation. With the amount of time I constantly spend in the city, it’s kind of crazy to say this but it’s human nature. New Yorkers want come to Paris and Parisians want to go to New York! It’s pretty funny how we think like that. And I know why, the few months that I spent in New York I had made more contacts than I would a few years in Paris.
